
Gibby’s Seafood was founded in 1980 by Charlie Gibby. For the past twenty-five years Gibby’s Seafood has been winning awards for the fresh quality and wide variety of their seafood. Most recently Gibby’s again won “Best Seafood” and Best Steamed Crabs in the September 2005 Readers’ Poll of the Towson Times. We have been #1 in crab sales 8 out of the past 10 years (Baltimore Business Journal).
Best Carryout
Gibby’s carryout has been winning awards and keeping customers happy by serving the areas best steamed crabs, the freshest seafood, delicious soups, homemade salads, sandwiches, and seafood platters for 25 years. Our new store is six times larger than our old store. We now carry (1½ lb) 16 overstuffed sandwiches (Boars Head Lunch Meat), and ready to eat piping hot or ready to cook gourmet entrees, over 500 crab imperial sold weekly.
Best Crabs
Gibby’s Steamed Crabs were once again voted “#1 Steamed Crabs” by the Towson Times reader’s poll September 2005. Thank you, readers of the Towson Times. All Gibby’s crabs are cooked fresh to order—no pre-steamed crabs are served at our market. This is why we have been rated “#1 in crab sales” 8 times in the past 10 years by the Baltimore Business Journal and are voted “Best Steamed Crabs” by the Towson Times year after year.
